Conducted a building condition assessment on the heritage designated Dominion Public Building in London, Ontario. The six storey building was constructed circa 1935 of a concrete and brick structure with a smooth ashlar limestone façade. TELSTORM conduct a close up, “snap shot”, inspection of the building envelope to determine state of repairs and identify current and potential problems and concerns. Based on the assessment, the limestone façade had significant areas of mortar deterioration and limestone bowing. As a result, TELSTORM provided the design and implementation to repair the areas of deteriorating mortar and bowing limestone blocks.
